Getting Inked

I have long wanted to get a tattoo. They say getting inked is an almost religious experience. Thus, choosing the design that will permanently adorn your body is very important. I haven't really decided what to have made so my skin is, as yet, tattoo-free.

I do know what NOT to have on my body though:

1) The name of a present partner.

I know, I know. Super pogi points ito kay babe pero remember, this will be on your body permanently. So, putting the name of someone or worse yet, the likeness of someone, on your body is a big no-no. What if you break up? E di kailangan mo nang pa-erase. E paano kung ma-keloid? The name will still be there... embossed nga lang. lol.

2) A cutesy cartoon character.

Picture this.... 80 years old ka na tapos may picture ka ni Tweety Bird sa boobs. Oh no! tumanda na rin si Tweety Bird... naging wrinkly and elongated pa (depending on your cup size when you started, of course)!

3) A design you chose from the tattoo artist's catalogue.

Oo nga, parang ang cool nga ng Agila na pinapalibutan ng Rosario. Lalo na pag maganda ang pagka drawing sa libro niya. Pero pag bumalik ka na sa realidad at nakita mo... hala, kalaki ng bird sa back mo, paano na? Wala pa siyang meaning sa iyo kasi ang favorite mong ibon ay hindi Agila kundi Maya.

4) For beginners, a large kick-ass tattoo.

Remember, masakit ang karayom. Magpa injection ka na nga lang e halos humiyaw ka na tapos magpapa tattoo ka sa buong likod?! Maraming karayom iyon. Wag maging ambisyosa.

5) The name of a notorious gang that you are or are not affiliated with.

Di ko na siguro kailangan i -explain ito.

Kayo, may idadagdag pa ba kayo sa listahan ko?

wut not to have -- XXX na pix lolz...

ako eto balak ko-- name or initials ng labs ku in chinese/japanese char, baka sa my batok eheheh... ndi man magkatuluyan o maghiwalay man at least ndi obvious na name pla un heheh... high!

Always pick an ink color that suits your skin tone.

I know someone na sobrang itim na nga nya kulay red pa ang pinalagay.

For great tattoo ideas. Watch LA Ink. Kat Von D is one hell of a talented artist. Saka para na din meron ka glimpse kung ano man yung mga pinapalagay nung mga tao at kung bakit nila pinapalagay yun, or kung pano sila nag come up with that design.

marami akong tattoo. hahaha. nakipagparamihan ako ng tattoo sa jowa ni karel. at dahil pasikatera akong nilalang, hindi sya nanalo saken. HAHAHAHAHAHA! talagang naka-shorts ako nong showdown, kitang kita ang ang sangkatutak kong tattoo. yung mga tattoo ko idinisenyo ng tadhana. ehem..... bouncing

kailangang kailangan ko pa ng maraming marami pang tattoo...sa ngipin sana. ngokngok. LOL

Gusto ko din magpatattoo...Astig yung tattoo ni Angelina Jolie sa may side ng thumb dun sa movie na wanted o kaya tulad nung kay Kitchie Nadal...kaso di ko alam kung kaya ko ang sakit....

A 'BUNGO' TATT

-- The usual 'bungo' tatt that you see sa mga nakakulong. ugh. please not that kind. tho I have nothing against sa mga nakakulong kaya lang hindi talaga sya maganda tignan. hindi talaga.

A PENTEL PEN LIKE TATT

-- I dunno why others have this kind of tatt. Its like a tatt na nag-fade na or something. It looks bad especially kung yung tatt e pangalan. basta parang nag-fade na yung tatt kaya sarap lagyan ng pentel pen para umayos hahahaha :)

Tattoos are special symbols and depende sa tao kung anong meaning sa kanya. Personally, i think tattoos are awesome and i have quite a few myself.
-I think girls with tattoos are hot, depende sa location and design (especially sa arms, back ng neck at rib cage).
-Sa mga nagbabalak magpa-tattoo, take your time and pumili ng design na may special meaning (DO NOT pick your gf or partner's name.bad idea.)
-Pain-wise: depende sa location, pag mejo may muscles yung body part, tolerable. Bony parts (top ng paa, rib cage)= parang bine-blade paulit ulit!

I dunno maybe it's the artistic rebel rocker in me that keeps me wanting it.

I just found the perfect tat. The word "Pilipino" in baybayin. Na inspire ako ng bagong labas na bills ng Banko Sentral.

Pero as for where I am actually going to put it, I still haven't a clue.

the only time i'll tattoo someone's signature on the left part of my chest is when i'm already a hundred percent sure that we'll spend a lifetime together. would that happen? time will tell. i have different perspectives about relationships because i had an eight-year relationship that collapsed. i stopped loving my ex three months after the break-up but what happened has a lot to do with who i am today.

I want an original design marked on my wrist or nape. If I'm lucky enough to have a partner for life, I would be happy if we get the same design together. Of course, it would still be her decision; I would not force her to have one. ;-)
